Wee 85: Refuse to take shower

In the past week Sophia gets more and more resist to take shower. Every time wash her became a pain. She cried and kept saying "pee pee". She wants to use "pee" as an excuse to run away from washing. One Sunday she sit on the potty and didn't want to leave. When I said if you don't like we can just go to bed directly. She stood up and took her body cream run for her bedroom while saying "sleep, sleep...". Yesterday I have to put her in the bathtub to wash her while she is crying all the way through. Later when I jump in to rinse her. She got better cooperated.

Sophia showed a little strategic intelligent when she played with Michael. She was playing drawing hand on doodle pad with Michelle when Michael jumped in. She didn't fight with him. She just walked over the pots and start to play with the pot cover. Michael heard the sound and ran for the pots. Then Sophia calmly walked back to Michelle and continued her hand drawing game.

Week 84: Marathon weekend and new shoes

Nov. 5th was a Marathon Sunday. We took Sophia to see those runner first on 5th Ave. then in Manhattan Central Park South. She was very fascinated. Maybe one day she will be a runner.
Thursday I dropped the application fee for Sophia at Montessori on 8th Ave. I made one mistake that I wish didn't cost her admission. I gave the envelop to a school teacher. She asked me who I am related to Sophia. I said " I'm her mama". It was so childish...
We bought her a pair of boots with light flash when she walk around. She loves them. When she figured out how it works. She sat on the floor and banned her shoes on the floor constantly. We have to change her shoes in the apartment.

Week 83: First Halloween experience

The last week was Halloween week. Tuesday I got home early to dress up Sophia and gave out candy in front of our building. This was Sophia's first Halloween experience. Last year she was too little to play -- She fallen to sleep before the parade started. This time she dressed as a lady bug with matching hand bag. Everyone said that she was very cute. She didn't enjoy the Halloween very much because she was afraid of certain costumes. My neiburgh dressed as a Spanish woman and walked on the stick. She looked at him and started to cry. Another one dressed as a cowboy on a bronco. She also ran away from him. Our building had a Halloween party in the back yard. After the party we went on the street for the street parade. Sophia had a lot of fun and fell sleep on our way back home.
Right after the Halloween she got cold. She through up on me around the mid of the night, had a little running stomach. In the morning Oliver didn't put on diaper for her for just a moment. She had accident and stepped on the poop and walked around in the apartment. We were in a mess...
After two days, everything got sort out. We set up a play tent in her bedroom. She immediately grab a pillow and pretend the sleep in it. Later Michael came joined her. We got many laugh in the apartment.
